Nexus Lab
nex·us (noun) a connection or series of connections linking two or more things.
The Nexus at Griswold High School is a cutting-edge computer lab with a radical, modern design, dedicated to three main uses:
- animation
- coding
- esports (competition using multiplayer video games)
The Nexus Lab is the central location for new opportunities in IT, shoutcasting, streaming, social media, sports writing, CADD, and other STEAM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math). The Nexus drives the school’s programming and offerings into the digital age.
The Nexus Lab, opened in 2021, is the first of its kind for high schools in Connecticut. It provides students in grades 9-12 a welcoming space where they want to both play and learn.
