Special Education
The Special Education Department services students who are identified with specific needs written into Individual Educational Plans (IEPs). Courses including Learning Strategies, Math Skills, Language Art Skills, Life Skills, and Work Study provide opportunities for students to focus on goals and objectives written into their IEPs. Executive functioning skills, social skills, and transition activities are applied within this coursework to assist in student success.
Extracurricular initiatives throughout the year include Unified Sports, Unified Music, Unified Arts and Crafts, a Unified Winter Festival, and a Unified Prom. The Unified Club meets weekly during Activity Period to plan or take part in these activities.
