School Counseling services are available to each student at Griswold High School. These services include assistance with course and program selections, ensuring students are on track to graduate, interpretation of test scores, college and other post-secondary planning, career information, and any topic the student feels he/she would like to discuss with a counselor. These services are provided through classroom presentations, individual student meetings, and through the school counselor’s individual Google Classroom pages.
Students may request an appointment with their assigned counselor through Google Classroom. If it is a more urgent matter, a teacher may call the school counseling office to check on the availability of a counselor to meet 1:1 with a student.
Students applying to college or GHS graduates in need of an official transcript may request a transcript here.

School Counselors
School Counselors at Griswold High School support all students in grades 9-12 with their academic, social-emotional, and college/career development. They support the development of translatable, lifelong skills to ensure that students are effective communicators, resilient problem solvers, critical thinkers, and engaged citizens, as per the GPS Vision of the Graduate.
The School Counseling Program at GHS is founded on the belief that students are individual learners capable of reaching their academic, social-emotional, and career potential when appropriate, comprehensive supports are in place. Students are provided developmental opportunities in a safe, supportive environment that fosters student growth. Collaboration with educational and community members further enhances this process, equipping students with the knowledge and skills to be both productive and successful.
